Although not specifically about Virginia, I have an op-ed in today's Richmond Times-Dispatch about last week's election. The main point:
The truth is that a slim majority of a small minority of Americans endorsed the GOP on Election Day. There’s nothing illegitimate about the Republican victory; but a resounding win in a midterm election does not translate to a public mandate for Republican policies.
